Hello lovely people! So let's do some baking today... I've always loved to try out new recipes and remodeling old recipes. But this time around I'm not only teaching a new recipe, I'm combining a new recipe with old basic one and I'm sure you'd love it. So let's start, shall we? For Apple Crumbs Ingredients: 8 Apples 1/2 Cup Balsamic Vinegar 1 Cup of Brown Sugar 1 Cup of Flour 1 Cup of Oats 25g Butter Directions: 1. Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F/gas 2. Peel and core the apples, then quarter and cut in to chunks. 3. Put the apples into a pan with 1/2 cup of sugar and balsamic vinegar, then cook over a low heat for 5 minutes to soften slightly, stirring occasionally, then tip into a small ovenproof baking dish. 4. Hey lovely people! Lets learn something simple and full of fun today! Let's make some Zobo syrup... You want to make that purpleish sweet drizzling syrup you churn on your ice cream, cake, whipped cream, pancakes and lots more? Then this is the recipe for you. Ingredients: Dried Hibiscus leaves (1 cup) Water (4 cups) Ginger (3 pieces) Sugar (2 cups) Directions: Boil the dried hibiscus leaves and ginger (peeled) for about 20mins. Let it cool a bit. Drain out the colored extract and pour into another pot. Add the sugar to the colored extract, stir well and boil till the solution forms a semi thick paste. Pour into a container and let it cool off. You can refigerate it and turn into a piping tube whenever you want to use it. So there you have it... Zobo paste!

So lets cook Mixed Okro in an unusual way today! Trust me you should try out this recipe before the year runs out! Ingredients: Palm Oil Ponmo Chilli powder Offals Dried Fish Crayfish Prawns Shrimps Locust beans Chicken wings Mushrooms Salt Seasoning Pumpkin leaves (Ugwu) Ogbono And of course, Okro! Directions: Soak your dried fish in hot water and salt for about 4 hours. Cook your chicken wings and set aside the broth. Heat your palm oil in a pan (the trick is to add a cup of water to the palm oil before it gets hot and allow it to boil, this would allow the palm oil to cook and also get rid of smokes that comes with bleaching). add chilli powder to the oil and water mixture, add the offals, dried fish, crayfish, prawns, shrimps, locust beans and the chicken broth enough to accomodate everything. Ingredients: Pasta (Spaghetti/penne pasta/macaroni) Carrots Sausages Cucumbers Spring onions Tomatoes Onions Green pepper Red Bell pepper Green beans Oregano Garlic Vegetable Oil Salt and Seasoning Cheese (Parmesan or Mozzarella) Directions: Cook your pasta al dente, and set aside.
